I am standing on a slab of sequoeia.
Not sure my smile could get any bigger!!! Walking around the General Sherman Sequoeias made me so happy this past fall. To be around a forest of trees standing steadfast in their enormity, with no apology for their majestic greatness, lit me up!! Thousands of people came from thousands of miles just to bask in their beauty.
My spirit was relieved to just be submerged in their 2000+ years of experience on this Earth. I was inspired to be 'allowed' to JUST be amazing with no justification. I saw these trees as an invitation to stand tall in my natural beauty. I have been since.
From time to time in my past, I would struggle with how big my heart is. I would think 'you care too much' or 'you're too emotional.' I would resist all the feelings that I had pounding in my chest. To attempt to bury or trim them seemed to encourage growth as I resisted. It was anything but natural.
These Sequoeias are such a fun reminder to just BE!!! Be who are. Invite growth. Stand tall as your greatness and do not fear having it on display. You were made to display your beauty and inspire others to do the same.
If you think you are just another tree in the forest of life, you may be missing out on just how much you mean in this world. Love the heart you have and live the life you love♡
