In my year and some months away from the midwest, I have come to terms with something about myself: I am a sunny day gal.
I've always known it and now, it's confirmed. I love the warmth and shine of that bundle of energy burning in the sky. Moving to Cali made it very clear and moving to Arizona has sealed the deal for me. I love sunny days.
There is simply something magical about the sunshine. Not just the vitamin D but the natural gravitational pull it has on my heart to get out of the house and experience the world.
Along side of coaching, writing, and speaking, I have created an opportunity to build houses with DR Horton! I get to manage the timeline of multiple house projects while bouncing block to block checking project progress while soaking up sun and breathing fresh, dry air. I am walking around AZ with flush cheeks, sweat on my brow, and a smile ear to ear.
I laughed of hilarious joy today as I caught myself in the mirror while washing drywall dust off my hands. "I help build houses!!" This is a life peak kind of year, peeps! From the 5th grader laying concrete with her Dad to the 7th grader tearing down plaster and lath with her Mom and Sister. I have acquired a position that I have felt like has always existed inside of me.
Just, wow. What a life we live. I am hear to remind you that if you can dream it you can do it. For real FOR REAL!
"Action IS THE THING between you and your dream life!"
What would 6th grade you be doing for career?
