I had in the call with an amazing teammate today and she asked me if I was okay. My voice wasn't peppy and my energy wasn't radiating. My tone was serious, focused, and direct in that call. I knew she could hear my tired I wasn't very good at hiding it. I had gotten off my day job an hour earlier and took a 40 minute nap in order to regroup for my evening's to-do list. I promise you all, my well being is intact. I can assure you that I am well hydrated, well rested, properly fed, and maintained. However, I was tired in that call. Many of my awake hours are committed to basically working two-a-days: one for DR Horton and one for Hearts Unleashed. I CHOOSE everything that I take on. I say No to projects constantly. I am diligent with my time. My schedule works for me, not the other way around. This wasn't always the case. I used to experience exhaustion as a result of being a victim to my own commitments and calendar. I used to wear busy as a badge of honor. I would run myself ragged and lay my head on my pillow at night still feeling unfulfilled and under accomplished. I was working to impress others and feel approved of or validated by my achievements and their admiration. Nowadays, I work for me. I prove myself to myself. I live fully expressed and it keeps me showing up to these two-a-days chasing my dreams and cultivating more greatness in this world! My commitments bring me joy and fuel me. I have simply 'increased the size of my plate' in order to fit everything that I am passionate about keeping in motion and momentum. However, I do get tired. Sometimes, the climb challenges you in ways that simply stretch your tolerance for moreness. Running a minute to minute schedule, knocking off 20 things on a daily to-do list, following up, and following through requires commitment beyond your excuses or feelings. Yes, I am tired and still my cup runneth over with passion, joy, and abundance! You can bet I would love daily naps and massages and soon that will be the case. Until then, I still enjoy the journey of creating that reality. And every day, I love the life I love. For daily gratitude, join us in the Growing Gratitude community on Facebook! Honestly peeps, I miss California every single day. I often question my decision to come to AZ not for any reason more than my undying love for Cali. I miss it so much. So here is a throwback Gratitude post to relish in. I love Dana Point and paddle boarding. I love that big beautiful ocean with it's rolling hills, majestic mountains, and beaming sun with cool salty breezes! Aaahhh! Even just typing all that makes my heart crave the far west coast! My gratitude is for the experience and the discovery of my hearts happiest place. I have chosen to be a traveler. I have chosen to explore. I choose to branch out as I grow my brand and business. I may miss Cali more than words can describe and it is so worth my growth and evolution. I am grateful for my own awareness: that land will always be there and I can always go back. It will always be available and waiting for me. Right now, it is my time to spread my wings. If you reeeeally got that your town will always be there, where would you venture out to grow, learn, and explore?? If you really got that you are free to adventure, what experiences would you create?? What are you hanging on to that feels so permanent? What fears are pinning you down? What do you really wish to do? Where do you really want to go/be? What are you waiting for? For daily gratitude, join us in the Growing Gratitude community on Facebook! This day 2 years ago, I got my last name back after divorce. This day over 3 decades ago, William Gazda made Grateful Deb a Gazda.
Sept 12 is a Gazda Growth Day and my Gratitude Grows by the minute! I have shared before that I wouldn't change a thing about the way our parents raised Emily Gazda and I. They split when we were just babes but never stopped loving us or each other. They seriously co-parented like champions! We were raised in pure love. We were taught what family means outside of the confines of marriage. We learned how to rise above a situation and practice commitment to each other. I have always been relieved to get my last name back. I am always proud to be a Gazda Gal. I am always grateful for the family I was born into. Shout out to Wild Bill and THE Deb for making Em and I. Happy Wedding Day. Happy Every Day. ?

➡️I can only coach it because I have lived it⬅️ This. One. Was. A. Tough. Y'all!!!!! And quite honestly, I grow more in this arena every single day. However, I have done the heavy lifting for you! Now, I am here to support YOU in your self love journey towards complete and utter, ooey, gooey self love! It's okay if the ooey gooey part doesn't resonate with you. It won't right now. When I started my self love journey, I made the mistake of thinking this was all about manicures, mud masks, and solo movie dates....it's not. Being in love with every bit of you DOES get a little mushy gushy and a bi-product of that is stellar self confidence! I am bringing two years are intense self love work to the table to you all! I have shifted from rigid, self-critical perfectionist competitor to free, powerful, and fully self-expressed creator who knows her worth! I had to get real about the self deprecating thoughts and patterns crushing my self esteem and let them go. The more junk I surfaced, the more I released. The more I released, the freer I became. This created clarity. The peace of mind I created by disrupting those patterns made way for recreating my relationship to myself, my worth, and the direction of my life! By falling head over heels with YO DAMN SELF, you gain all of your own permission to actually BE YO DAMN SELF! So if you are ready to own and unleash that beautiful heart of yours, join my in the Self Love Is Not Selfish 5 Day Challenge that starts THIS Monday! It is private ✔ It is personal ✔ And it will get mushy gushy, ooey gooey ✔ Warning: Only sign up if you are willing to fall deeper in love with yourself! Cause it's gon' happen! Happiest Labor Day, lovers! Labor Day is a day that we celebrate the progress of the 'labor movement.' Time lapse: one photo is my Dad helping me gut and remodel my first solo apartment in Whiting 2 years ago. The other two are him helping move into my new apartment in Gilbert 2 weeks ago. When I think of labor, I think about my Dad's hands. I think about his tan skin from shingling roof and laying block. I think about his cut off shirts and paint splattered boots. He has always been there for me and I can always count on his labor AND his love. Essentially, Labor Day is a celebration of the American dream and the freedoms that we have to pursue work that we love WHILE being treated fairly as we do it! This holiday has a special place in my heart because what labor 'looks like' has evolved over generations and decades. The concept of working for your dream has certainly withstood the test of time. People standing for freedom of self expression truly makes my heart tingle with appreciation. Feeling free to create our own work and thrive in it is not a new concept. Yet, it looks a little different with each generation and even every year. So whatever your labor looks like, love it. However your love shows up, is labor that doesn't have to be 'hard work.' May you spread your love. May you live your joy. May your labor be lighthearted. May you be an example of the labor movement today and every day. ....well, I guess words to my ears... I can tell you that I will be listening to this episode about 10 times! Jeff Crume is amazing and so was our conversation about becoming YOU! Tune in http://www.heartsunleashed.com/listen.html This 👏Man 👏Right 👏Here👏👏👏 Tune in to this morning's fresh release to hear "Evoluationary", Jeff Crume explain how to "let life refine you, not define you" so wisely in this Friday Full Up! I dubbed him an "Evolutionary" after this conversation! Jeff shares much of his own growth and insights to depict what it looks like to become more of yourself with every single step in life! As an example of 'doing the work in order to do the work,' he has let life reveal and polish his spirit as opposed to shape it. In this episode, we have an amazing conversation that supports what you always hear me say: WHO YOU ARE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT YOU DO! Jeff is a shining example of honoring WHO he is and letting it guide what he does. We invite you to use today's Friday Fill Up to further know, own, love, be, and share yourself. The world is waiting for your heart to be unleashed http://www.heartsunleashed.com/listen.html For daily gratitude, join us in the Growing Gratitude community on Facebook!
