There is a HUGE difference between declaring something to happen and hoping something happens Someday.

Creating possibility where there was none requires a conversation about the power of our word and the consistency of our integrity.

A woman named Josselyn Herman-Saccio changed my life forever. Maybe it was her orange power jacket or maybe it was the 12 hours a day, 3 days in a row we spent in one room dissecting literally every avenue of our lives and how they've come to be.

In the beginning of our course, I noticed Jocelyn's New York accent, her spunky glasses, and absolute rocking "unmessablewithness." <- A term she is hell-bent on getting in the dictionary.

The very next thing I noticed about her was the tattoo on the back of her wrist. I could tell it was long hand cursive and immediately knew I loved it. I didn't even know what it said but it didn't matter, I loved it.

Nothing was said about the tattoo and the course began. We learned the true meaning of group and proceeded to transform ourselves and each others lives.

Over and over again, she taught us about the power of our word. It was clear what a priority it was to internalize that we are nothing BUT our word and without it, nothing gets created.

Everything....everything.....exists in our speaking.

One of my favorite take aways:

*Your Power is measured by the rate in which your word becomes reality.*

Abby translation: "Say what you mean, mean what you say, and do the damn thing!!!!"

I am compacting about 40 hours worth of conversation into a gratitude post so bear with me...

Over the long weekend, Josselyne transformed what it means to be human in today's world.

She had us look at authoring our lives from a TOTALLY new place.

We owned that our Word is Who We Are.
We are the ones who get to say.
We get to create life.

Eventually, she finally told us that her tattoo reads Abracadabra.

You can obvi relate it to the magic chant but in Hebrew, it translates to:

"With my word, I create."

It was like oxygen had been added to the room and we could all just simply breathe.

We all related to this magical concept that we can speak our lives into existence!

That was what I needed to hear at the exact moment I heard it.

Possibility was pouring out of my ears!

We had just spent days in a row talking about integrity, commitment, and playing the biggest games of life and she presented us with a powerful place to come from.

For me, it was access to a super power I often forget I have, My Word.

No one can take your word away.

No one can speak your word.

Not really. Not truly.

No one can take what you don't give them.

And your word is the only thing you really have to give.

It's poetic when you really think about it.

I pledge to stand boldly and begin speaking life over others and myself.

It's NOT always comfortable but it as alive as I can live.

*I totally asked Josselyne's permission to copy cat her tatt. She was a HELL YEAH! I couldn't even wait a week to get this amazing reminder to live powerfully, speak boldly, and stand proudly.*

Guys, live the hot damn life you love!
