Keep The Change I used to hear opinions like a comfy, warm security blanket. Like the one your mom takes out of the dyer and runs to wrap you up in. It tucks you into the couch just a little bit deeper. Before that, I heard opinions like a sharp, cold dager. A jab of doubt would prick my side. It'd bleed, I'd cry... I used to love opinions, that were in my favor. I'd make them mean I'm great! I made it mean 'I won!' I find opinions are not for us. They are for them. To feel heard. To voice concern. To share their knowledge. To express themselves. Now, I just hear opinions. I don't give them any meaning, and if I do, I just let it go. 'Good' or 'bad' is relative. Opinions are a dime a dozen. So just keep listenin' And you can just keep lovin' You can keep on sharin' And you can keep huggin' But you can keep your opinion. You can keep the change. #feelinpeoticaf For daily gratitude, join us in the Growing Gratitude community on Facebook! Thank you for growing with me and as always, live the life you love
