 You guys, this temporary move up to Portland has been one of my SINGLE biggest tests of strength ever!!! I came out here to generate a book tour. My plan was to create something from nothing! In these 2 months here, I have faced most of the peaks, valleys, and pitfalls that anyone hitting the trails of life encounter. It has become quite the test of character and commitment. Emily Ann Felicity Gazda has gotten me through this experience with so much love. She has been a sounding board, a tear wiper, a cheerleader, a devil's advocate, an idea generator, and most of all, the best sister I could ever ask for. Her patience with my wild ideas and whacky emotions has qualified her for sainthood. She has held me up from behind as I have faced my own personal battles of courage and worth. I could never say enough about this woman. She has saved me from myself as I have grown during this phase. I could not imagine making this specific transition without her physically by my side. I did not realize that my gratitude for her could grow but it certainly has!!! There is no shortage of love available to us folks!
