Y'all, my book and audiobook reviews got me BLUSHIN'!!
One of the reviews said that I remind the reader of the late Louise Hay!!!!!! Guys!!! Google her! I haven't exactly shared the behind the scenes experience just yet. I had kept it to myself in order to truly process it. The night of its debut felt like so sacred a moment in my life that I caught myself keeping it close. I am happy to share this joy with you. The audiobook was released on Friday, May 11. I got the email late that evening as I was boarding a plane to Chicago to surprise Grateful Deb for Mother's Day. I got the email that it was released, quickly downloaded it, and as the plane was taking off so was my audiobook. I pressed play as the wheels were leaving the ground and heard MY voice reading MY book! I looked at it in my Audible library atop my list of other favorite authors and books! I was flying, smiling, laughing, and crying all at the same time. It was one of the most surreal moments of my life. As it was happening, I had the thought, "This is what it feels like to be an author." I had never dreamed of being an author. In 9th grade, I would've told you that I was going be a teacher and a basketball coach in Whiting, Indiana forever. All I knew was sports and education. I still love sports and education with a huge part of my heart and I truly never fathomed that I would be an author. I knew I wanted to impact hundreds, thousands, and even millions. I knew that I wanted to educate and inspire. I never thought the way that I would impact people is with my words! I love to write. I love to speak. I love to share. I love to laugh. I love to make a difference in this world. I love BEING the difference that I want to make in this world. Seeing the reviews that I am getting on Amazon and Audible fill me up with more gratitude then I can tell you. Outside of the validation of having done a good job on a project, the gesture is beautiful and appreciated. I am receiving all the heartfelt love being poured into the reviews the way I poured my heart into writing it. In life, truly being self expressed, doing what I love, and making a career out of it all is the most astonishing experience of life that I have had. My true gratitude comes from my heart. It grows from the core of who I know myself to be. It blooms in the Growing Gratitude community. It blossoms from your participation. I would LOVE to invite you to write your own Audible and Amazon review of my book. I invite you to share the difference my words have made for you. It is a distinct honor and pleasure to be able to make this request of you. It is humbling to lean in to your love and support. I am You. You are Me. We are We. We are love. It is with my WHOLE heart that I thank you. http://a.co/afkIdnI https://www.amazon.com/Giving-Up-Abigail-Gazda/dp/1943493170
