I'll spare you figuring out what the hell that means. For those of you who don't know Drake, Urban Dictionary explains it as "Going through your neighborhood carrying your problems and sorrows; yet, still surviving." Anyone else runnin' around with their woes? Anyone else draggin' baggage? Who else is suffering from self inflicted probs? ENOUGH ALREADY! I ain't dissin' ya. I am missin' ya. When we get wound up in what worries us, our vision gets blurry. Our judgement gets cloudy. We spend more time locked up in our head than present to what's in our heart. As a result, who YOU are as an amazing contribution doesn't show up. Your woes do. None of it is real. The "Struggle is real" story IS the struggle. None of it means anything. Now, your ego or inner critic will fight for 'your truth' about how bad or tough life is and I get it. I do it to. I demand that I don't have enough time, energy, or money. I insist that I don't have what it takes to become as big as I dream. I totally relate to those of us out there thinking life's not fair and there is no way we can truly have it all. I get you. I am you. The point to get is that while your fighting your internal battles, we don't meet YOU! You aren't really out here with us in the world and you certainly aren't spewing more love and joy out in the world. This internal battle is a chosen mind state. In an instant you can get it and let it all go. You can choose your power. You can choose grace and gratitude. You can seriously FLIP struggle on its head in a way that creates your triumph...not your struggle. At any point, you can choose love. You may give up your struggle, get outside of yourself, and join us out here. Join us. Set yourself free. Unleash your heart. We are waiting. ________ If you are searching for your freedom, reach out to me. If you've been in action and something isn't clicking, let me know.
